Historically, GMAC has hated the word "being" when used as a verb. In almost every case where "being" has appeared, a different choice has been accredited.

In just about any guessing situation, answer choices containing "being" are a bad guess. "Being" is certainly grammatically correct in many sentences, but it's a poor stylistic choice on the GMAT.

so are there any specific sentences where i can use BEING ?

being should not be used generally coz it is both passive & redundant (in some cases)

however being (form of verb "to be") can be used in sentences where there is a need to emphasize on the ongoing nature of an action i.e progressive tenses.

Right - the progressive tense is the one that often demands "being", for example "He is being a jerk."

However, it's exceedingly rare for the progressive to appear in the correct answer on the GMAT.
