I just finished my GMAT today and got 770 and was pleasantly shocked

Here were my prep scores before the real one.

Manhattan CAT (took 4) - 680
GMAT Prep - 720

I used the following prep material and prepared for about 2-3 months. I took a week off from work and fully immersed myself before the test and this really helped me get into the zone. Probably the bananas that I ate during the test breaks also helped

1. OG 11
2. Kaplan GMAT 800
3. Princeton Review
4. Wren & Martin for Grammar - Read the whole book twice.
5. Barron's Let's review sequential Mathematics for high school regents exam.
6. The quantitative GMAT math shortcuts PDF downloaded from one of the forum articles.
7. Manhattan GMAT practice tests
8. Manhattan sentence correction guide.

Here's my take for the future test takers.
1. For Verbal, the grammar book really helped to parse even long SC questions.
2. For math, the Barron's high school book refreshed my basics on geometry (congruence, similarity), co-ordinate geometry etc..
3. The Math shortcuts PDF is a bible. It is a must for every GMAT test taker.
4. I would recommend taking the 6 MGMAT CATs and 2 GMATPrep (even though I took only one).

I am an Indian IT guy working as a manager in a silicon valley startup with an engineering background. So I expected to do well in Math but I was surprised when I did well in Verbal (higher than my Math percentile).

I've not been a very active member of the forum but visited it a few times and have found the site extremely valuable. Good work y'all.
