Also, tell me WHEN to use "ABSOLUTE MODIFIERS"(like here "a genial man with a face and voice known around the world" modifying the complete sentence) and WHEN can they be replaced by "AND"(like in C and D "and is among others a genial man with a face and voice known around the world". This looks fine to me as it is SEPARATE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION).
