Bad at Math.. Please help

Hello everyone,
I am keen on giving my GMAT sometime early next year.
I 'am not too good at Maths though. Can u guys help me to know if its extremely important to be good at Maths to crack the GMAT? Does an average student succeed in doing so?

One correction to my previous post. The Kaplan GRE & GMAT Math Workbook has a new, GMAT specific Edition:

You certainly do not have to be a math expert when it comes to the GMAT! The GMAT tests only a limited set of subjects, which are equivalent to early highschool level math subjects (Algebra, Geometry, etc.).

With the right preparation you can definitely ramp up your skills and do just fine on the test. Check out the GMAT Resource Wiki, http://www.beatthegmat.com/wiki/

If you look in the recommended books section, take a look at the Kaplan GRE & GMAT Math Workbook. This is a nice book to study if you need to brush up on fundamentals.

Best of luck!
