Your total score is based on your Quant and Verbal scores.
You will get these results immediately (unofficial results).

Your AWA is scored from 0 to 6 in .5 increments. You will get this when your official score report is made available.

Although your AWA does not affect your total score, it is sent to the Business Schools you request your score report to be sent to. As we have discussed in this forum before, it is not a good idea to skip or otherwise neglect the AWA portion.
