Ask an IESE Student

by beatthegmat » Mon Nov 28, 2011 12:06 pm
Hi Everyone,

One of our own BTG members, Lucent, has kindly agreed to represent this forum as an IESE student! Please use this thread to ask all your IESE student life questions.

Thank you Lucent! Look forward to learning more about life at IESE.

All the best,

Eric

Hey - are any IESE students still around?

I would be very interested to hear about general opinions on the course quality, student quality, workload and fun factor of being at IESE! Best and worst aspects?

Any info appreciated! Thanks

Hi guys,

Its been over a century that I posted anything here. But as an IESE grad (just graduated last month), I would be more than happy to answer any questions..

Here is a very generic answer to my opinion on IESE:

1. Academics and the overall MBA experience exceeded my expectations! I would do it all over again in blink..
2. Work load is notorious (in the first year) - but i guess that is expected. (Lucent - congrats on finishing your first year!!)
3. Student quality is probably the best aspect of an IESE MBA for me!
4. I think the weak-link is the number of job opportunities for international students as Europe was not in a good shape this season! (My prediction is that Class of 2014 would reap the greatest benefits)

For more specific answers do feel free to shoot your questions..

Best wishes..
