What's the source? I think this sentence needs to say "other Asian nations" in order to be correct. As it stands, I would choose A if it were worded "that of other Asian nations"

my answer is A. Clear & concise.
All other choices are either awkward/wordy or they change the meaning of the sentence

Is this an Offical GMAT question.I doubt about it.

Reason:

The drop out rate in S... school is 10 times that of Asian nations

If I replace that with The drop out rate then the sentence will become.

The drop out rate in Sri-.. school is 10 times 'The drop out rate' of asian nations

how can we compare drop out rate of school with that of nation ....

I agree with Gaurav...A compares drop out rate to nations....
I was a stuck between B&C and finally went for C...however i am still not convinced if the question is a good one..
Where is it taken from?..
