How can we not find the area if we know 2 points? If we know two points of a rectangle, then we know all 4 points?

Thanks

Thanks
how will u get points for R n S
If u have points M and R (diagonals) then you can find N and S but if u just have M and N then you will not be able to find R and S
Consider:
M(2,1) and if R were (5,5) then you can find S to be (2,5) [2 - x coord of M and 5 - Y coord of R]
but with the provided info you cannot determine R and S
Having M, you can find the x coord of S but not the y coord. Similarly for R you can find x coord
i hope it's clear now

Yeah I see what you are saying. I think you meant to say that with the y cord of M you can find the y cord of S, and with the y cord of N you can find the y cord of R.

Thanks!
