I've got a 620 when I did my GMAT last year... I'll be doing my GMAT early next month so I hope i can improve on my score.
That apart, I've been working for 4 years now.. Started out as a developer and then moved into the role of a business analyst. I am planning on applying to Rotterdam. I heard their course starts out early in Jan.

I have been thinking of applying at Rotterdam school of management .
My GMAT score : 690
Work Experience : 5 yrs .
Lot of Extra curricular activities.
Working in the manufacturing industry .

What chances do I have with this profile . Could anyone help me out please ?

Also, I couldn't help but ask this question. The deadline for the application submission is 05th Nov, 2012. And RSM utilizes a rolling admission process. So, is it too late in the day??

Why do you guys want to study in dying Europe until & unless you wish to go back to your home countries looking for a job after the MBA? Being hopeful is good but not in a time of adversity like this. I have so many Indian & Asian friends who found it so disappointing to go back just because Europe is in a turmoil right now. Getting a work permit is hell lot difficult.

Look at schools like NUS & Nanyang in Singapore, HKUST & HKU in HongKong, AGSM & MBS in Australia and ISB & SPJBS in India. Go where the future is, Europe is history. Being a European, it hurts me to say this but it is true.

I know a guy who got into RSM with a little less than 4 years of work-ex.
Why don't you directly talk to the adcoms?

I think, its the overall profile that matters and the genuine passion to get into MBA, atleast that is what I felt during the entire process.
you should write your own essays it brings conviction in you at the time of interview. If you are not sure about writing hire a consultant to guide you, don't let them spoon feed you.

This is Mallika Hunsur and I came across your post on this thread.I am looking at RSM too for Jan 2016.
I'm a Lead Engineer in an IT-Services set-up, with focus on the Banking and Financial Services domain.
My work-ex averages to 6.5 years as of today and am looking to get into Program Management roles post an MBA.Apart from global exposure at work, I've also been very involved in CSR initiatives. Also, I have a lot of credentials I can add to my profile apart from plain academics.
Would like to know from someone who's secured an admit a first-hand account of what the process is like.

Could you also share some more details about your profile, your GMAT score and key areas you focussed on in your application..?

Please will it be possible to share any information you can about RSM and the process you went through.
