I currently have a BS in Accounting and I'm planning on applying for the MS-Taxation program at the school where I completed my undergrad, however, some other schools that I'm considering do not offer this program. They offer an MS-Accounting program instead.

Would applying to different programs at different schools look bad to professors when I ask them for recommendations?
