In a race to admission in top MBA programs, I took my GMAT and managed a mere 600 (41Q, 31V) with a pathetic IR score - 2. I intend to seek admission to colleges like NTU, NUS, Melbourne Business School etc which have their GMAT average much above 600. It would be great if you could evaluate my profile and give me a more realistic picture of the battlefield.
I belong to the infamous Indian IT male category, and have 4 yrs 7 months of experience with Accenture, India. In my work experience, I have managed to bag the best possible employee rating consistently each year and have won performance awards at work. I have spent about 3 weeks(very less) at the AT&T HQ(client), Dallas, technical consulting to get more business for Accenture. I have also collaborated with Accenture marketing team to produce Employee testimonials for Accenture India branding. Designated as a Sr. Analyst, I lead a team of 6-10 people who deliver complex web applications for clients in very tight timelines. I am also an active participant in CSR activities. Over the weekends, I coach colleagues and kids to swim free of cost.
My CGPA in B.Tech(CS&E) was 6.7/10. I was elected as the Student President of Network Security club at the University, managed about 200 student members, organised corporate seminars and workshops, and conducted an online International Ethical Hacking competition which catered participants from about 30 countries. My overall CGPA may not be at par, but I scored well in subjects related to Computer Networks. I have also done some freelancing while I was a student, and provided Network Security consulting and web application development services to small enterprises.
During my schooling, I participated in Swimming(National level), Badminton(India West Zone level), athletic competitions. Was the Sports Captain at school. I have a 2 year certification at playing Tabla(musical instrument).
My job leaves me no time for GMAT prep, hence I'd like to know if I stand any chance in a good MBA college with this GMAT score and profile.
