Yes! You've to pay application fee to respective b-schools you're applying to.


Be 'ware :twisted: GMAT expense is almost nothing when comparing it with application process.

Each big name b-school has application fees ~200$
that means your application form expense alone is 4 times greater than GMAT registration

The purpose of choosing the 5 schools during the test is that GMAC is giving you the chance to send your scores for free. If you plan on applying to a school outside of the 5 you chose during the test, you will have to pay GMAC to send your official scores to that school (~$15 per school, I think).

So you see, the only point is that this is your chance to send your scores for free to any school. This is only one small aspect of the overall application, which includes fees, essays, LORs, etc., etc.

Does that make more sense?

It merely reports your score.
However, scrutinising applications involves great amount of money and time. definitely not $30 which is ''the score reporting fees'' if you haven't already sent them on G-day.
