I've taken the 2 GMAT prep practice tests (650 and 680) and i also took the freebie on the Manhattan site (650). I'd like to know of any other good sites? I've not really read good things on this forum about the Kaplan and the princeton review sites, so it seems like they wouldn't be worth doing.

does anybody know if i just re-install the GMAT prep software if the tests will be different?? It sure would be nice to get another 2 GMAT prep tests. Or if i just re-sign up for the Manhattan site using a different email, if that test would be different?

Thanks.

I actually disagree--I think that the Kaplan and Princeton Review companies provide excellent GMAT practice tests. Moreover, they each provide one free on their websites, check out the links here: https://del.icio.us/beatthegmat

I've heard from many members that re-installing GMATPrep will refresh some of the questions, allowing you to take two new tests with minimal question overlap. I think it's worth shot.

Good luck!

If you re-install (either ours or GMATPrep), the algorithm views you as a completely new person and will give you whatever it comes up with for your scoring range. So there can be a hight likelihood that you'll see some of the questions you saw the first time around. The main issue is the number of questions in the database - the more questions, the less likely you will be to see repeats.

Ours does have quite a number of questions, so you'd be pretty unlikely to see many repeats on a second test. That might change as you take more, though.

The other thing you can do is buy access to a full set of our tests - that allows you 6 tests with absolutely no repeats. You can do that either by buying access just to the tests, or by buying one of our 8 books, which come with test access. (Friendly tip: it's actually cheaper to buy a book than to buy access only to the tests... ;)) Details on our web site but I think each book costs around $30 and the tests alone cost around $40 or $50.

I have read conflicting things about Kaplan's online test (too easy, too hard, whatever) but the PR one is great. Definitely do that one.

Yeah, you can reinstall GMATPrep but you'll probably see repeats. The prep books that come with tests are pretty cheap on Amazon, and they usually have strategy and practice questions also. I started with Cracking the GMAT and thought it was solid all the way around.
