how does
5^21* (2^2)^11 = 5^21* (2^21 * 2)

?? i get the part where 4^11 = (2^2)^11..

but how does that become ( 2^21 *2 )
(2^2)^11 = 2^22 = 2^11 *2

Thanks kind soul and others.

To the original poster--I'd like to ask that you please be patient with your questions! Many times you'll be able to find a quick response here, but if you press your agenda too hard in this community you may find that the nice people here will be reluctant to answer you.

We're here to support and encourage each other, but please respect the fact that everyone is volunteering their time.

Thanks again.

Hi kind soul and others,

I was not trying to be rude, it is just that the OP had started more than one thread for the same question and I hence thought he was spamming. It was not my intention to offend anyone but if i did I am sorry about it.

Regards :)

hi Gabriel

I must say even I though it was spamming, even though I answered the question 2 times. It could still be spamming, but well best to move on.

this is a great forum, with most people very helpful.
