GMAT is taker is planning to pullback in answering quant question he is considering weather to start with answer C or D
If he starts with C: he will pullback only once if C is the correct answer and only twice if C wasn't correct.
If he starts with D: he will pullback once if correct answer is D or E and twice if the right answer was A, B or C.

If he pullbacks 30 out of the 37 quant questions. And the correct answers were equally distributed among the 5 answer choices. How much time will he gain or lose if it takes him 60 sec for each pullback and decides to start with D

A: Gain 6 minutes.
B: lose 6 minutes
C: Gain 3 minutes
D: lose 3 minutes
E: he won't gain nor lose time
