The inspiration for Picasso's famous painting, "Guernica," was from the brutality and cruelty of a civilian attack during the Spanish Civil War.

The inspiration for the painting wasn't from the brutality and cruelty. It was the brutality and cruelty.

The inspiration for the painting wasn't from the brutality and cruelty. It was the brutality and cruelty.

How could this be? It seems like this: the inspiration was the brutality and the cruelity of the book ?

Do I have to be a native speaker to get this one ?

oh this question can be confusing but if u just read it out, was definitely sounds right. the inspiration cant be the brutality.
