Anomaly with Veritas scoring alogirthm/Tips for RC

I gave the Veritas free test today and my score was:

780(Q-54/V-49)

I am a little bit suspicious about the Quant score as I though scores can only go from 0-51? Any insignt on this from the Veritas folks?

Also the RC questions on Veritas seemed tougher to me than other practice tests online. Is it intentional?

I am planning to give GMAT in a couple of months and my test scores have been:
GMATPrep 1: 750(Q50 V41)
GMATPrep 2: 740(Q50 V40)
Princeton Cat 1: 720(Q51 V 37)
Princeton CAT 2: 750(Q51 V 41)
MGMAT1: 710
MGMAT 730
MGMAT3: 740

I am targeting a 700+ score and facing problems with RC mainly( used to be SC before but that has improved over last 15 days).Any tips on how to improve RC skills?

Regarding your Veritas quant score that is a bit strange. I've never seen a 54 score. However, it seems like you are on the right track with your prep. Your GMAT Prep scores are fantastic, and those tests are the best indicators of your performance.

Good luck!
