We are asked to find a conclusion, B is not a conclusion, if we say B is conclusion then the point about single cell life is irrelevant to the argument.
On the other hand A says we are sure that life exists now in Mars, fossilized remains could have been of 100 million years old...

Now that Metorites have found to have life forms. SO it leads to believe that Mars also contains Life forms!

Now that Metorites have found to have life forms. SO it leads to believe that Mars also contains Life forms!
So from option A, we confirm that life exists in Mars.
Option C says we are moving a step towards confirming this.
From the information given we can safely conclude that we are moving forward, but we can't say we found evidence.
I am not trying to say C is the answer. What I am saying is, C makes more sense.

B - Correct. Discovery is just an evidence on basis of which scientists are forming various theories.
C - It could also be a small step. No evidence to support this statement. Eliminate
D - Nothing to support this statement in the Stimulus - Eliminate
E - There could be other methods that can do the same job. Acid Etching could just be one of the effective methods. Eliminate.
I still did not get B.I could not understand why finding of the asteroid could be evidence that this metroid came from Mars. critics may hitback that just because we have not found 'such' characteristics anywhere does not mean this asteroid has come from Mars. It could be equally possible that this asteroid could have come from an unknown planet X, whose characteristics are similar to mars.
Finding this asteroid could only be another hypothesis, or at best one step closeer to the evidence about its origin from mars, not an evidence.
