And this is crucial as in the modern world where all fields of studies are intersected and therefore students must posses enough skills to thrive in their studies. One bright example in favour of standard test system is computer literacy, being directly irrelevant for many professions it defines how good a candidate can be at retrieving, processing and searching of information - which is nowadays is an essential part of any studies.
