Hi Lisa,
This is Puneet.
Please take a look at my profile and please let me know, if I qualify for the B Schools of US.

Name : Puneet Rekhade
GPA : 7.48/10 ( 2.99/4 )
Major : Computer Science
Job : ORACLE - India Development Centre.
Position: Associate Applications Engineer.
Work Exp: 1 year.

I have the date for Dec-08. I will be applying for the US Universities for the batch of FALL-2009-2010, i.e. next year, which will make my Work Experience of 2 years.
Thus, I just want to know about my odds of getting into the Management Schools next year.

Looking forward to hear from you.
Thanks,
Puneet.

Dear Puneet,

Your chances will vary depending on the schools you apply to and what you score on your GMAT. With a very common profile and grades being below the average, your GMAT score becomes more significant. I would suggest reviewing our forum for posts with other candidates with similar profiles for tips and suggestions on how to distinguish your application. Likewise, I would suggest looking for smaller programs in the top 50 in the US.

Best of luck,
Lisa
