Although limited in their usefulness thus far

good Day

Although limited in their usefulness thus far, the company board's several entrepreneurs believe that what the two programmers have developed is the start of something very important.

Although limited in their usefulness thus far, the company board's several entrepreneurs

Based on the limited usefulness thus far, several of the entrepreneurs on the company board

With the limited usefulness thus far, several of the entrepreneurs on the company board

Despite the limited usefulness thus far, the several entrepreneurs on the company board

While limited in usefulness thus far, the several entrepreneurs on the company board

my doubt : i am little worried about the usage of "despite" in option D .does the expression "Despite the limited usefulness thus far" not incorrectly modify "the several entrepreneurs" .to put my question in other words is "despite the limited usefulness thus far" not following the rule of VERBLESS clause ,which tends to modify the noun after the comma just as the expression "Although limited in their usefulness thus far" will modify "the company board's several entrepreneurs" in option A ?

if not then can u please elaborate more on the usage of "despite"

thanks and regards

Hi aditya8062,

What is the source of this SC? I ask because the opening Modifying phrases of each of the answer choices are really clunky (referring to people as having "limited usefulness" is odd phrasing). It would be highly unlikely for an Official GMAT question to be written in this fashion.
