Alternative Transcript?

by Woodencrawdad » Fri Sep 14, 2012 10:34 am
I am an older applicant (31) who graduated with a 3.16 in Business Admin. from a Top 50 university. I minored in Philosophy.

I blew off a lot of my quant classes in college (was a hippie into music and writing...did well in all my liberal arts) and came out with a lot of B's and C's in things like stats, accounting, finance, econ. I'm in MENSA and was a state math champ in high school so the quant isn't a problem - however, I was a young and immature student and rarely took those classes seriously (wish I knew now what I didn't know then!).

I have a solid GMAT (720) - should I still consider taking a few quant classes at my local university to show them I can do the in-class work? I am applying to Top 10 programs.

Thank you!

If you have never used quant in your professional experience, probably a very good idea.
