msingh, unless the essay question specifically asks about an alternate set of goals, then we **strongly** recommend that you stick to just one path. The reasons are:

a) you don't have space in most goals essays to sufficiently cover multiple options (most people barely have enough room to cover one!)
b) it often comes across as indecision - if you haven't really figured out what you want to do, the adcom may wonder if you really know why you need an MBA at all
c) this can be especially problematic for the EMBA programs in particular

That being said, the schools know that the future is uncertain. Things change. They do sometimes like to see people talk about alternate paths in an interview, just to see how the candidate is thinking about their life.
