All good atheletes who want to win are disciplined and have a well balanced diet. Therefore, atheletes who do not have well balanced diets are bad atheletes. Based on the sentence above which of the following strongly supports the view:
a) no bad athelete wants to win
b) no athelete who does not eat a well balanced diet is good athelete
c) every athelete who eats a well balanced diet is good athelete
d) all athelete who want to win are good atheletes

What is the OA? How can it be B, as someone above says?

Thanks.

If OA is B, IMO C
If OA is C, IMO D
If OA is D, IMO E
If OA is E, IMO A

This cannot be a GMAT question. The reasoning is absolutely flawed here.

Using formal reasoning

Fact 1: Good Atheletes, who want to win --> Disciplined AND Well balanced diet.
Contrapositive of Fact 1 : ~ Disciplined OR ~ Well balanced diet --> ~ Good atheletes who want to win.

Conclusion : ~Well balanced diet --> Bad athelete.

Problem : Strengthen the argument

Soln: The correct choice would be
Bad athelete = ~Good athelete who wants to win.

A can be the closest possible answer.

IMO B. You can see two sentences are not different :D.
