ALGEBRA HELP! Please BTG Community...

Okay, so I'm looking for a more specific type of prep - ALGEBRA! Through my studies, I've noticed that Algebra is my weak point when it comes to GMAT Math. Does anyone know some great Algebra prep books?

Now, I'm not looking for high school textbooks. More so, I'm looking for a quick and dirty guide that can help refresh elementary algebra that can serve as building blocks to help me tackle advanced and more difficult algebra. Maybe a certain GMAT text that covers algebra well... or possibly another prep book that covers it well (SAT, ACT, etc...) I currently have Kaplan Premier and the algebra prep is only 9 pages! Note: my weak point in Algebra are the rules to follow... ie. I typically make a mistake here and there when it comes to manipulating equations and working with polynomials.

For tackling advanced algebra,it is imp. to keep your fundamentals strong.
I would recommend you to go through following Manhattan guides:-
1)Equations, Inequalities, & VIC's
2)Number Properties
3)Word Translations

I guess for the algebra "Number Properties" would come in very handy.

After going through the concepts you can practice through the OG .For tougher questions,look for the questions at the back of the section[i.e. starting from Q75(Difficulty of questions is in ascending order in OG)]If you are able to solve them,then I guess your fundamentals are strong.

Aside from these guides... maybe what you really need is that HS type math algebra book with problems in the back of each chapter. I took an Algebra Review class and it's been phenomenal. I definitely got my monies worth. I'll try to track down the name of the book that I got, but I don't think it's available everywhere, although you can probably get it on Amazon.com.

Well I think high school textbooks would help u much better to clear ur concepts rather than anything else. may be some GMAT book rather discuss the things in short but if u don't clear ur concept u r liable to do mistakes every now and then so i would suggest you to go thru concepts.
Well when i was searching for algebra links I found a link very useful https://www.khanacademy.org/ hope it might help u.
Then also I will suggest you to go through high school books.
