What the answer choices?

If I read the question correctly, we can narrow it down to

(x^2 + y^2 + 2) / (x^2 + y^2 -2) but this is straight-forward
subst that will probably not appear on the GMAT as a full question.

I think the answers were 2, 4, 8, 16

I have solved this question....and even managed the right answer....but I am sure you're missing some detail about the question

I lost the answers, but I am sure it was 16.
I have no idea how they got this.
