It seems like most schools have an average age around 28.
I am currently 28 and if apply for fall of 2011 i would be 29 when classes start, but i feel like I may want to wait an additional year as i think my extracurriculars could use a little improving, and i am dealing with some family and personal things, that i would like to get wrapped up with before i enter B-School and the extra year could make a big difference.
I am not interested in schools like Harvard or Stanford but more programs like Texas, UNC, Indiana, Emory. Would being 29 versus 30 make much of difference when applying?
For what its worth i am interested in Marketing post mba, not IB or consulting.
