advice request - GMAT in 8 very busy weeks

Hi all,

I would really appreciate if you can help me with advice and or any suggested stratigies as i have my G day by early Jan.

I have been practising a bit on different forums and had the Gmat prep tests a couple of times ( reinstalling) , i have faced around 90% new questions each time , i am scoring 48 in Q each time and 27 to 29 in verbal all the time.

i need a 680 to 700 score. i have an extremely busy schedule at work travelling to 5 different distinations on road shows and sales visits.

What should i do to boost my verbal score in that short period.

Also , i have a certain approach for Q ( i skip Perms and comps and probability) if i encounter any and still manage to score a relatively good score at least of me .. what do you think of that?

I agree that you have a good strategy, focusing on verbal rather than quant. I'd still advise you to try to do a little quant every day, though, just in case.

For verbal, there's two great ways to study: one way is to read any well-written material you can, including books, newspapers, magazines, journal articles, whatever. They don't have to be GMAT related - anything will work. The other way is to do the problems from the OG, truly analyzing every answer choice to see why it is right or wrong - analyze them so much that you can explain the answer (and every answer choice) to someone else if you had to.

Good luck, and come back with more specific questions when you have them.
