I recently started studying for the GMAT a few weeks ago and am planning on taking the exam in 6-8 weeks. I came across this site and found a lot of resources, but I don't have the time to go through each recommended book and do a complete, thorough study for the GMAT. I need to absorb as much as I can in the next few weeks before taking the exam and would like advice on how I should strategize.
Right now, I'm studying PR's Cracking the GMAT and got most of the easy/medium math questions right, with minimal errors, but am getting a ton of questions wrong on the harder questions (Bin 3/4). I know how to solve all the questions, but I can't seem to solve them in less than two minutes without making many mistakes. Maybe I'm just bad at math? According to the Warm-up Test, I am top 1/3 in both reading and math, but I have my doubts.
I'm willing to put a lot of time into studying. The work that I do allows me to study most of my hours at work with privacy and internet access without getting into trouble. So I'd say I can spend about 8 quality hours a day studying.
Considering my competency and situation, what should my study plan be? Which books do you recommend and what strategy will be best for me?
