Here it seems like everyday items are magically mundane.
A 's meaning does not make sense at all.


B)his camera lens magically transforming mundane, everyday items such as vegetables into objects of resplendent beauty

In B it is very clear that camera lens does the magic to transform mundane items.

Yay, "his camera lens magically transforming..." is an absolute phrase, which I don't get to see often to notice it.

"Magically" is an adverb modifying the present participle verb "transforming" and thus it goes in the front. I believe when adverb is used in the middle of the sentence, it always goes in front of the verb, unless the verb is an auxiliary verb or a BE verb.
