One of the most important choices facing the new administration at this moment is if they should continue to advance contractionary fiscal policy.

A) this moment is if they should continue to advance contractionary fiscal policy
B) this present moment is whether it should continue to advance contractionary fiscal policy
C) this moment is whether it should continue to advance contractionary fiscal policy
D) this moment is whether they should continue to advance contractionary fiscal policy
E) this present moment is whether it should continue the advancement of contractionary fiscal policy

Stuck between C and E. I do think that the usage of both 'present' and 'moment' may be redundant.
Final pick C.

I was stuck between B and C. Idiom 'continue X to Y' is correct and not 'continue X of Y'. So E can be easily eliminated.

You are correct OA is C

Good to know.. I didnt remember that about idioms.. I eliminated B for redundancy (same reason as E).

Good question btw.. where is this from?
