There's been a lot of discussion about this issue in the past. Check out the GMAT Resources link at the top of this page as well as do some digging into the old archives. Here's a good post that's somewhat related: https://www.beatthegmat.com/consecutive- ... t4567.html

In general, it's not a good idea to focus on hit rates/accuracy rates. Focus instead on why you got certain questions wrong, do a deep analysis of your errors, and understand the concepts as best you can. Obsessing over hit rates (like I did during my own prep) is a poor use of your time.
