A week off before the GMAT?

by miproyecto » Sun Sep 13, 2009 6:16 am
Hi,
I have been preparing for the GMAT for the last 4 months. Of course, this has been parallel to work.

Would you recommend taking one week-off work before the test? I am wondering if it can make a great deal of a difference...

thanks,

I think it depends, but it's not about the studying. It's more about your mental state: would you feel better/more confident if you took one week off? If you've been studying for 4 months (even if while working), a week of cramming won't help much. However, if you would feel more relaxed/confident if you did this, then go for it. Remember to practice official stuff in your last week, it gets you in the right mindset. Good luck!
