We see that there are 5 terms and the first 4 terms are arranged in the ascending order. For the median to be 3, we must have 2 terms that are less than or equal to 3 and 2 terms that are greater than or equal to 3.

Since 1 and 2 are less than 3, the two terms 4 and x must be greater than or equal to 3. The correct answer is D.

Correct answer: D

Hope this helps!
