Charges for the first 4 pages = $4.

Charges per page from 5th page to 32nd page = $0.50.

Excluding the 11th and 22nd page, there are (32 - 4 - 2) = 26 pages

Thus, total charges for 32 pages = 4 + 26*0.50 = 4 + 13 = $17

The correct answer: C

Hope this helps!

The amount charged for a 32-page script is:

4 + 0.5(32 - 4) - 0.5 - 0.5

4 + 0.5(28) - 1

4 + 14 - 1 = 17 dollars

(Note: We subtracted 0.5 twice because he does not charge for the 11th page or the 22nd page.)

Answer: C
