A company has 3 directors and 5 managers.

A company has 3 directors and 5 managers. How many different committees with 5 people can be chosen having at least 1 director?

A. 25
B. 55
C. 500
D. 720
E. 4,500

Answer = Total no. of ways the commitee can be formed - Total no. of ways the commitee without a director is formed.

=> 8C5-5C5 = 55 ways.
