Hello,
For the attached question, below was my approach-
Conclusion: "Legislation is needed to regulate phthalates"

I chose answer 'B'- cause it stated that some manufacturers avoid use of Phthalates- But there could be few who use it and can cause harm to the ppl's health. THAT IS WHY- a legislation is needed to regulate Phthalates.

Can you denote me where did I go wrong in my assumption?

The question is asking you to provide support of the argument. So if there is anything that supports your conclusion that phthalates is toxic to humans who come into contact with them? then it is the correct answer.

Statement B

Whether the manufacturers use it a lot or totally avoid the use of phthalates but how does it effect the conclusion that phthalates is toxic to humans who come into contact with them?
