Rephrased question :Among the 255 employees, are there fewer than 128 women with a college degree? 1) If 130 employees do not have a college degree, then the other 125 employees do have a degree. So the maximum number of women with a college degree is 125, which is less than128. Therefore we know that the answer to the question is a definitive YES. Sufficient. 2) If 125 of the employees are men, there are 130 women. There's no way to know if fewer than 128 of these 130 women have a degree. (If all 130 women have a degree, the answer to the question would be NO, there are not fewer than 128 women with a degree.. If, say 120 of the women have a degree, the answer would be YES. Because we can get a NO or a YES, this statement alone is not sufficient. ) The answer is A. _________________ Veritas Prep | GMAT Instructor Veritas Prep Reviews Save$100 off any live Veritas Prep GMAT Course
