I haven't taken the GMAT yet(about to do so in a couple of days) but I also follow the waking up early strategy because it is simply too difficult for me to actually concentrate by the time I get back home in the evening which is even later than the time by which you came back. I arrive at home by 8 pm. I study for an hour, sleep early and then get up at 6 am. So that works for me. And 2 hours per day looks fine to me

Good suggestion by gauravdangi. 20 hours per week is a good amount of time to dedicate to the GMAT. Beyond that would be a stretch I think and you will feel exhausted after a couple of weeks if you study too much

I have started with Aristotle CR Grail and like the book. I was wondering how difficult are the 100 practice questions given at the end ?

I've done around 50 practice questions so far and I think the questions are good. Most of the questions are in the 600-700 level and some of them are in the 700-800 difficulty level. Yet to do the last 50 .

Do you use the 8 minute breaks you get after the IR and the Quant section ? I think they help immensely in calming down one's nerves.

Great post unclesam. I am finally planning to take the GMAT in another one week after a lot of preparation. Any tips you have for me for the last week ? Should I be doing something new in terms of practice or just revise?

My $0.02- I think you can't improve a lot in the last one week. I'd rather focus on revising the error logs and refining what I have learnt instead of doing something new.

Quick Question guys, I went through the SC grail 3rd edition already. I looked through the concepts and did the practice problems at the end of each section. I have yet to do the 125 questions at the end of the book. Is my best bet to do those and then keep an error log to find weaknesses? Is this the suggested way to improve SC scores or do you have another recommended method?

Yeah that's one of the ways to go about it. I'm,however, doing it a little and hopefully better way. I go through a particular chapter in the SC Grail, then I go through the topicwise matrix and do questions testing on that particular chapter. This is helping me quite a lot otherwise I tend to forget the concept very easily.
