Hello Stacy,

I have 720 GMAT and am founder of startup in Gurgaon, India. I had also raised seed funding but the startup does not seem to go well so want to apply for MBA in Fall 2016 to learn what i lack and is very much required for an entrepreneur.

I had quit my job 9 months back and was into operations (Supply Chain) after that opened an e-Commerce startup and am currently doing that.
My total years of exp at the time of matriculation would be 5 Years. 3 Years into job, where i had worked for a leading US MNC as Procurement Specialist.
Currently in my startup, I am into Product Management and Operations (COO).
Since my startup did not meet the numbers, I am out of funding and would like to pursue MBA.
My short term goal is to be an analyst in a VC firm as I would want to be connected with startups, gain more knowledge and long term goal is to become an Angel Investor or join a VC firm as a partner.

My target colleges are Harvard, Wharton, Cornell, Tepper and Duke.
I would like to understand about my chances in the above schools.

My remaining profile until 2013 (before i opened my e-Commerce startup) is as below:
I have worked as Buyer for 2 Years and currently working as an Expeditor. I have coordinated the procurement of spare parts worth $58.5 Mn and was solely responsible to Client as company's representative to present weekly progress report. I have procured material worth $2.3Mn for the world's largerst green field aluminium smelter project as a buyer and expedited orders worth $4.2Mn against suppliers in 4 continents. As Expeditor I have made 10+ shipments from various locations at project site.I have been recognized in the company four times for Communication, Innovation, Knowledge of Work and Ownership.

I have recently completed 6 sigma yellow Belt certification through company and worked on reduction of shipment delays. My recommended actions to reduce the delays would be implemented from October'13.

I had 2 startups in college
a. Mechatronics: giving consultation on robotics.
b. Nakurikajugaad.com: consultation on personal development.

I had presented a business plan and got into top 20 business plans in India, the event was covered by ET Now;

Extra Curricular -
I am Vice Chairman of Socials Ccommitte, New Delhi, in my company
I have won various laurels in Western Free style Dance
Won couple of car drag races
Won various robotics competetion.
Raised money for charity during diwali by selling chocolates on the day.
Won Mr. Personality Award in College.
Cheers,

Shantanu
