Hi Ankrmit,
4^(2x-2) = 4^2x / 4^2
If 4^4x = 1600; 4^2x = 40.
Hence, 4^2x / 4^2 = 40 / 16. Guess it is
5/2
Pls highlight if this is right / wrong.
I doubt if this question would be 700+ though ...

4^(4x)= 1600 implies {4^(2x)}^2= 1600 or 4^(2x) = 40
4^(2x-2) = (4^2x)(4^-2) = 40/16 = 5/2
The correct answer is (D).
4^(2x-2) = (4^2x)(4^-2) = 40/16 = 5/2
The correct answer is (D).
