If you have the time, would you mind reading over my profile? As always, the question: Will I get into my target universities for an MBA? (The main reason I ask this question is because my GMAT score is not up to par with averages at my target universities, especially in this hyper-competitive environment where you don't want to give the top schools ANY reason to reject you.)
Here are the details:
Target Universities:
- Stanford
- Haas
- Kellogg
- Wharton
- Booth
- UCLA
By the Numbers:
- GPA: 3.99 from University of Southern California (BS in Business Administration, emphasis in Management)
- GMAT: 700 (49 Q, 35 V, Percentile: 88% Q, 74% V) - I scored significantly higher during the practice exams (740-760); will a low verbal score impact my overall chances of getting into a top school?
- Work Experience: I'll have 24 months at the time of application, and 33 months at the time of (hopefully) acceptance. I have worked for the Cornerstone Research, a litigation consulting firm, which has a good reputation at most universities. In addition, I have finance experience from internships.
- Leadership: Various experiences ranging from leading the effort on analyst recruiting at my firm to presidents of undergraduate organizations, etc.
- Personal Facts: I perform magic, dance, and other arts.
I am looking to evaluate the opportunity cost of taking the test again versus focusing on philanthropy efforts or other essay opportunities.
Any help would be much appreciated.
