i just gave the gmat prep practice test and got 640. Q 45 V 31 but the problem when i check ed the test i got total 14 wrong in which SC was 11 and CR 3 wrong. this is totally opposite of kaplan 800 SC that i gave where i got 90 % right.

I am not worried about quant a lot as it seem i usually get above 42.. my concern is verbal./ How can improve my verbal. The current result toally rocked me as getting 11 wrong in SC alone while kaplan 800 getting 90% right. please help.

Hi Rochit,

Sometimes we do tough SC questions but when questions of 600-700 level come up, we don't perform well.
This is because of lack practice of 600-700 questions.
You can do OG questions. Just skip some 40-50 initial questions and then you will find good questions.

It will help to resolve the issue if you tell what all have you studied till now for your SC. You are too short on time but I will still suggest to quickly go through Manhatten SC correction book. That book just did wonders for me. Initially I used to get 11 questions wrong in SC and after finishing off this book, there was a time when I did just 2 wrong.
