Work
- 2.3 years of work experience in IT industry and by the time I join in Fall 2010 would have 3 years work experience.

- Have helped in delivery and process audits in the project.

Activities

- Helped in the event management of college symposium.

- Won numerous accolades in the school level.

Goals:

- Short term: change my career into the management field , since i dont have work experience in management
- Long term: top management role in a big company

I am not expecting to get into the top twenty b schools. My aim is to get into the schools ranked from 20 - 40 .
I also need financial aid for my MBA program. So can u suggest me schools which would satisfy my requirements.

I have the following schools in mind,

Arizona state university (Carey)
University of Texas, Dallas
NUS
Nanyang

Dear selvaganesh,

I think your profile is competitive for the 4 schools you listed. I'm not sure about scholarships from NUS or Nanyang, but know both ASU and UTD offer awards to a select group of admitted applicants that range in amount. Generally speaking, if you target schools where your GMAT is above average and where the curriculum makes sense for your post-MBA goals, then you will have a better shot at being admitted and at scholarship awards. Much like admissions decisions are based on a holistic evaluation of your application, scholarship decisions are also made in a similar way amongst the admitted student pool.

Good luck,
Lisa
