670 GMAT - GRE Substitute?

Hi Jon,

I'm in the IB/PE/VC mold with strong work experience and a solid GPA from a top 3 public school. My issue is the GMAT. I have taken in multiple times and topped out at 670. Clearly this is too low for a top 5 school, so I am wondering what your thoughts are on the GRE. Would a high GRE score be a sufficient substitute for the GMAT? I know many adcoms say they don't have a preference, but conventional wisdom says that's just lip service. Thoughts?

Just make sure the school accepts the GRE too (most all do)
