Hi All

I got 650(Q49 and Verbal in 20s) score in the gmat prep1 and actual exam is in march 2010. Any tips would be highly appreciated !

Quant:
I am happy with quant performance on the gprep exam. However did not perform well on Data Sufficiency and it dragged down my score.

Verabl:
This is the most concerning area for me. I am very sloppy in verbal and could not manage time properly and at the end had to hurry to finish the section.

I am looking for some tips on improving accuracy on DS , increase speed in the verbal and on how to build good vocabulary. I also bought Manhattan sc book but did not finish it. Do you think is this good enough for SC or I need any other books ?

Gurus please advise.

For DS you need to practice many questions and they become more natural to you. Practice elimination techniques. If 1) is suff: A/D are the only options. If it isn't, BCE.

You didn't mention if you're using the OG? What about the OG for Verbal? There's sentence correction in there. Many people also recommend notes from other forum members on here, do a search and study with those. You'll want to create your own set of study cards in order to review the areas you feel are your weakest.
