First of all I would do some research on schools that have an acceptance standard around your score. Then I would research the school and see if it is something that can help you achieve your goal. I went ahead and did some research for you and found a website that could pose as useful. It shows average GMBA rankings in top schools listed within each region or country. So you can get an idea of which schools may be willing to accept students with those scores. Happy hunting and hope this helps.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for replying. Well, the business itself is very small, we are just a team of 3 people: 2 partners and I am the employee (Manager level). It is a Real Estate services firm started by my mother 7 years back, and I joined after getting interested in a whole lot of opportunities to expand the company's sales and market share.

My goal is not the usual, get an MBA and return to take over the business, however it may happen after several years. My main objective instead, is to break into a Corporate career in Marketing, gain general management skills and get experience working on Marketing consulting roles helping small businesses with their marketing strategies.

I have decided to wait out until next year to apply, while I increase my GMAT score, strengthen my candidacy in other aspects like leadership and community roles, etc.

Are the schools I selected a good fit for my profile? Except Kellogg, I don't know of any other school that will really value this family business/entrepreneurial background.. Any thoughts on this?
