580 with 47V and 24V

Hi!

580 with 47Q and 24V isn't it a too low score in the real GMAT? I know verbal was a really poor score but does it usually penalize that much?

it is just that I've seen tha with 28 in Verbal you can core up to 640! Do 4 points in the Verbal Section make such a difference?
