Does B means over 5000 years ago archeologists have discovered that.....
and OA means archeologists have discovered that now but the trend is happening from last 5000 years ...

can somebody explain...

Over five thousand years ago does not modifies archaeologists...... there is modifier error. So Only C corrects the error

Over five thousand years ago modifies Archaeologists .It means that Archaeologists discovered the fact (that Mesopotamian cooks were preparing chicken with coriander and tamarind, just as Egyptian cooks are still doing today) 5000 years ago.
