I'm having a bit of trouble selecting my 3rd recommender for Harvard & Stanford (peer) and would appreciate any input. My first 2 recommenders are my current supervisor and former supervisor (same company but very different roles - 1 in Compliance & the other in General management).
For Harvard, my options for my 3rd recommender are -
1) Another former supervisor ( don't know how useful to provide another from a supervisor)
2) My HR Relationship manager at the Company - she knows me well and has seen me grow over the last 3 and a half years
3) A truly famous Entrepreneur who is a close family friend and has known me my whole life. Has acted as a mentor to me and i've discussed every major life decision with him. Further having known me my whole life can provide insights from incidents further in the past than the others.
For Stanford (peer recommendation) -
1) My classmate from law school. We worked together on the event management committee for a year and the next year i was head of the events committee and he was president of the student body. Most insights he would have would come from these 2 years (2006 & 2007)
2) My HR Relationship manager - Have worked with her on a few people engagement intiatives after taking on my current role.
3) Somebody from the Corporate Affairs Team with whom i worked with while running a 2 day meeting for the 200 top managers of the company.
Great relationships with all the above people. Just not sure who to get the reco from and time is running out.. Any insight would be appreciated..
